职位描述：
Key Responsibilities
• Applies engineering and/or scientific skills to technical processes with support from experienced team members. • Participates as a team member, helps define/refine methods and actively contributes towards team goals.
• Carries out engineering responsibilities using accepted methods and practical experience.
• Demonstrates good understanding and applies knowledge of an engineering disciplines.
• Continues to develop capability to create engineering solutions through training and experience
• Applies basic knowledge of statistical tools and warranty databases to analyze existing component or system reliability, report the reliability per the customer’s reporting requirements, and provide interpretation of the results.
• Applies basic knowledge to assigned tasks to provide reliability comparisons and assessments across the Cummins product range and identify and report adverse or favorable trends in current product reliability.
• Applies basic knowledge of statistical and life data analysis techniques to statistically quantify the reliability impact of design change.
• Applies basic knowledge to assigned tasks in new product reliability standard work to ensure products meet reliability targets, including new product reliability assurance, reliability improvement plans, design failure modes and effects analysis,, failure reporting and corrective action systems, and new product reliability assessments.
• Works with other engineering disciplines to resolve product issues. Helps to evaluates customer needs and aligns specifications with identified customer expectations.
• Assists with the development of related tools and methods in order to quantify and improve product reliability. • Works with current product problem solving teams as well as fi***ce and marketing functions.
Education
• Master / Bachelor of Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical degree required
• Higher degree is preferred
• Reliability, Mathematics (Statistics) background is preferred
Working experience
• Experience in reliability engineering is required
• Experience with automotive or industrial equipment development is preferred.
• Experience in Quality Management Systems is preferred
Cultural/Language
• Effective communication capability in English and Chinese, both verbal and written, are required
• Must have an interest in working in multi-cultural e***ironment.
Other requirement
• Ability to work well in teams
