Responsibilities 岗位职责:
1. Work with R&D, factories, and suppliers to ensure components, assemblies, and final products meet II-VI high standard of quality and reliability.
2. Participate in architectural design reviews and engage with R&D on technical discussions regarding development of new products. Provide inputs and requirements to ensure new products are designed for reliability.
3. Develop/review/approve qualification plans for new products, technologies, components, new vendors, and site transfers.
4. Coordinate qualification programs, review test data, and generate lifetime models. Present reliability results to various engineering groups internally and customers externally.
5. Interact with customers and SDE/suppliers to provide appropriate expertise on device and module reliability.
6. Participate in technical discussions and ensure that reliability failures have solid failure analysis, root cause, and corrective actions to prevent such reoccurring failures.
Qualifications 任职要求:
1. MS with minimum of 8 years working experience, or Ph.D with minimum of 3 years’ experience, in optical/electronic, materials, physics, chemistry or semiconductor industry field.
2. Technical knowledge of optical modules, PCBA and optical assemblies required.
3. Knowledge of Telcordia and other reliability standards required. Reliability modeling and lifetime calculation preferred.
4. Lab failure mode analysis experience is a plus.
5. Knowledge of optical-electrical communication, optical module test, TOSA/ROSA structure design is preferred.
6. Strong technical (written and verbal) communication skills required for customer and internal communications.
7. Positive inter-personal skills necessary to support cross-functional teams.
8. Willing to travel if needed.
