Scope of Position
· Lead or coordinate Division-wide Finishing Equipment FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) in high impact items to drive performance improvement for better equipment reliability and lower maintenance labor/cost
· Maintain and refine Finishing process and quality critical equipment components list and reflect to CDT-wide standard of (1) Finishing Maintenance Strategy (Run-To-Fail, PM, PdM or Design-out), (2) Finishing Maintenance Standard PM procedure and (3) Equipment Trouble-shooting guides
· Co-work with SGP equipment team, Finishing Rebuild projects and Plant receivers for new technology and new retrofits created new spare parts management
· Coordinate CDT Finishing Equipment parts second source evaluation for parts quality/life-time improvement and/or cost reduction
· Identify equipment reliability concept and come out test plan for high impact Finishing key components
· Working with Finishing Maintenance, Engineering team and Suppliers in high impact items failure mode analysis with statistical data together with modeling as needed to address root causes and improvement plan for better equipment robustness and longer component lifetime
· Review CDT-wide PEM/MNT Finishing Equipment FMEA cases
· Select/share the best practices
· Provide inputs to FMEA in high impact items for improvement opportunity
· SGP representative for Finishing Maintenance in CDT-wide spare parts management and MRO reduction projects
· Support to new technology development and migration projects for industrialize design with well-defined MTBI, MTBF, MTBR and MTTF target as part of technology transfer package to address the considerations of equipment reliability and maintenance friendly
· Access to internal and external modeling resource for key components failure mode and robustness evaluation
Education & Experience
o BS degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Material Science, Industrial Engineering, Physics or equivalent practical experience.
o 5 years of relevant work experience in equipment and mechanical engineering field, include Plant Engineering, Finishing Maintenance and/or Division Engineering
o 5 years of solid experience in mechanical design, equipment engineering, modeling & failure analysis and/or related fields
Required Skills
Excellent computer and 2D & 3D CAD skills (good command of MS Office, AutoCAD and SolidWorks) High level of communication skills in a multiple culture team Influence to motivate the team Able to work under high pressure with aggressive schedule and changing scope
