RoleSummary/Purpose       
TheLeadreliabilityTestingEngineerisatestleaderwithintheGEHCHWCoEthatownsresponsibilityforthedevelopmentoftheChinabasedEnvironmentalandReliabilitytestfacilityinBeijing.Thetestleaderwillconsolidatetestrequirementsfrommodalities,prioritizecapitalequipmentbudgetstoprocureanddeveloplaboratorycapabilitiestoimproveproductdevelopmentalignedwithbusinessneeds.

EssentialResponsibilities       
Thetestleaderwillconsolidatetestrequirementsfrommodalities,prioritizecapitalequipmentbudgetstoprocureanddeveloplaboratorycapabilitiestoimproveproductdevelopmentalignedwithbusinessneeds.Thetestleadermustbefullyengagedwithcross-functionalteamsacrossthebusinessincludingengineering,qualitytobuildandmaintainacollaborativeworkspacethathascapabilitiestomodelandevaluateGEHCproductsagainstdesignspecifications.TheTestleaderoverseesday-to-dayoperationofthelocalEnvironmentalLaboratory,providestrainingandguidancetotheTestTechniciansrelativetoperformingtestingofcustomerproducts.

EssentialFunctions(Responsibilities)
•DevelopandoperatetheBeijingenvironmentalandreliabilitytestLaboratorytoservetheproductandtechnologydevelopmentprocesses.
•Managetestschedulesandassignresponsibletestpersonnel.
•Executetestandprovideguidancetolaboratorytechniciansinexecutionoftestplans.
•EngagetheGEHC-Chinadesigncommunity,includingBeijing,WuxiandChengdubyexecutingontheglobalstrategyoftheHWCoEtestlaboratories,establishingmetrics,sharingbestpractices,highlightingaccomplishments,anddevelopingskills,knowledge,andcapabilities.
•Responsiblefordevelopingandoptimizinglaboratoryprocesses,workflows,andtheoperationalexcellenceofthefacilities.
•Coordinatealllaboratoryequipmentmaintenanceandcalibration
•EnsurecompliancewithallcorporateandregulatoryEHSguidelines.
•Engagetherapidproto-typinglabtorapidlyevaluateconceptualdesigns.
•GrowcompetencyofprototypingandlaboratoryevaluationtechniquestosupporttheMakerspaceactivities.

Qualifications/Requirements       
•Bachelor'sDegreeinatechnicaldisciplineincludingMechanicalEngineeringorApplied/ExperimentalPhysics.
•5yearsrelevantworkexperience,preferablyinhardwaredesignandtest.
•Experiencewithreliabilityandenvironmenttestlabs,vibrationtesting&monitoringsystemsandthermaltesting&monitoringsystems.
•Experiencementoringandcoachingengineers.
•Effectivewritten,interpersonalandcommunicationskillswiththeabilitytoworkaspartofateaminvolvingstaff,clientsandoutsideagencies
•Mustbeabletoworkeffectivelyinaglobalcross-functionalteamenvironment
•Strongorganizationalskills,includinganabilitytoprioritizeactivitiesandworkwithlimitedsupervision
