Themigrationfromanalogtodigitalsystemsintheinstrumentationandcontrol(I&C)withinanuclearpowerplanthasincreasedthecomplexityoftheinstrumentation.TheI&Csystemsbeingdevelopedarecomputerbasedconsistingofembeddeddigitalhardwareandsoftwarecomponents.Theseembeddedsystemsperformmanyvaryingandhighlycomplexfunctionsthatareintegraltothesafety-criticalrequirementsofanuclearpowerplant.Theneedtounderstandtheeffectsofvariousfailuremodes,includingcommoncausefailuresandcommonmodefailures,inthesesystemsisbecomingincreasinglyimportantbecausethefailureofanI&Csystemcouldleadtorisksignificantevents.

最近在研究一可靠性标准，说适用对象为软硬件结合复杂大系统，一直不知道该怎么界定这个复杂大系统
