ThisreferencemanualisconsistentwiththeSupplierQualityRequirementsTaskForcechartertostandardizethereferencemanuals,procedures,reportingformatsandtechnicalnomenclatureusedbysupplierstoDaimlerChrysler,FordMotorCompany,andGeneralMotorsCorporation.AccordinglytheFMEA,3rdEditionManualiswrittentoprovideguidanceforthesupplier.Themanualdoesnotdefinerequirements,itdoesprovidegeneralguidelinesintendedtocoversituationsnormallyoccurringwhenpreparingFMEAsduringthedesignphaseorprocessanalysisphase.
